Mental Health Message

We all have to be there for each other, and we never know who's alone and who isn't. If you or someone you know are going through a mental health crisis, even if you don't know them well, please be there and let them know that MentalHealth  .com has the resources that can help.

Important Game Information

For those not familiar with RPG Maker titles, there are a few things to know:

F4 - Full Screen Mode

F5 - Restart Game

The Steam Overlay can leave images in the black border of the game's engine, using F4 to leave full screen and return will clean that up. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's a glitch in the overlay.

About This Game

Follow Laurel through her school day and learn what happened that's causing her so much guilt. With only 100 HP for her energy, and using candy and lunch to help replenish it, can you make it through Laurel's Day and get her locket back?

Unlike traditional JRPGs, Laurel's Day is about Laurel navigating classroom questions, and a concerned community that surrounds her; all in order to conserve her energy to make it to the end of the day. Using her imagination to get through everything, a fairy named Lloen is able to turn Laurel into Katja, her inner confidence, Katja is able to handle any 'monster' that stands in her way. Can you solve the puzzle to get Laurel her locket back?

(This game is a grief experience. Not only is it simulating the experience of grief the main character is going through, but simulates the experience of grief the community around her is going through as well. This game was created to make you feel something real, and is a new concept in gaming. Instead of playing to win, you play to feel a real emotion making the replay value high. I warn you though that this game is extremely realistic and will hit your emotions hard at the end. It was designed for this and why the length of the game is what it is. It's designed for the best possible way to feel the emotion without burying it in extra filler.)

Laurel’s Day was solo developed by David Listzwan. Within 15 months of learning the RPG Maker MV engine, David created another game called Dimensional Gates that Laurel’s Day actually comes from. Dimensional Gates proves David’s ability to program and break the system. Able to break the airship transfer to cabin that even the Publisher of the engine thought was impossible, David has drawn attention for his work as well for using Event Based Optimization allowing his games to run just as optimized and smooth as old JRPGs from the Super Nintendo era.
