Varför Early Access?

“We're releasing Myrkwood: Offshoot in early access as we feel that we've done enough to justify people having it in their hands. While there is one map already in the game we believe it's far from being done & definitely needs more improvements in order to be considered finished. We'd also like to build a community for our game as we build it as we'd love to have people tell us what they think of the game during its early access period while it's still relatively "fresh" so we can change it to what we consider a more complete and enjoyable package.”

“The game will be in Early Access until we consider it finished. While we don't have an exact release date for when we could possibly call the game finished, it can best be assumed that as is we will release the game in a state we deem "complete" in about one or two months.”

“We plan for the full version to expand on the current foundation with more levels, additional enemy types, new progression systems, and broader customization options. The current Early Access build focuses on the core gameplay loop, but lacks the variety and polish we’re aiming for. Over time, we hope to refine balance, add more content, and improve overall replayability based on player feedback.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Myrkwood: Offshoot currently has one map, one weapon & four enemies. We still do not have enough content in the game to consider it truly done, we'd like to add more content, additions, features, and fixes to truly make this a finished product that we'd consider done. We'd also like to use the extra time in Early Access to iron out bugs and generally balance the game to make it more punchy & action packed.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We're currently releasing the game for free in Early Access, but plan to charge for the full release. However, we'd like people that acquired the game during Early Access to still retain the game.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We're currently in a spot in development where we want to get all the feedback from players we can, as this is the most opportune time to make any changes to the core gameplay of Offshoot. We'd preferably like to receive feedback through emails. ”
