Kuromaku Demo is a slow-burn psychological horror experience set in the intimate, unsettling confines of your father’s apartment. After your parents’ divorce, you move in with him, beginning what feels like an ordinary day marked by small household tasks. Yet as you settle in, the atmosphere begins to shift—ordinary moments unravel into something darker, hinting that not everything is as it seems.

Gameplay & Atmosphere
This game is primarily a first-person narrative walking simulator featuring exploration, and work inspired by series like Fears to Fathom and Chilla's Art Games. Carry boxes. Unpack. Share breakfast. Clean the bathroom. Restock the kitchen.

These simple, everyday moments gradually twist into disquieting experiences: a door that won’t stay closed, a delivery man whose face feels wrong, the creeping sense of being watched.
