What if chess wasn’t about checkmate - but about escaping? This is a tactics-first twist on chess where your goal is to reach a door with your king while the your opponent tries to stop you from doing that.

You move like chess, think like a puzzler, and play like a roguelite: quick runs, bold experiments, instant retries. There’s no clock and no theory to memorize—just clean, readable tactics with that “one more try” loop.

Play solo in a progressive Campaign, mess around in a quick-fire Custom mode that regenerates new boards on demand.

Features

Escape, don’t checkmate: Win by reaching the exit squares; lose if the enemy escapes or wipes you out.
Procedural arenas: From classic rectangles to L-shapes and blobby mazes, with carved-out holes and multiple doors on higher levels.
Tactical clarity: Click-to-move with clear highlights for moves and captures. Easy to read, hard to master.
Modes: Campaign (progressively larger, trickier boards), Custom (instant regeneration for rapid experiments), and Local Versus (couch duels).
Tune the tempo: Optional multiple moves per turn (1–3) for explosive combos and daring escapes.
Comfortable controls: Orbit/zoom camera to survey the field; no timers, no stress—just pure puzzles and tactics.
