Miksi Early Access?

We chose Early Access because we want to involve players in the development process. Escape the Maze is a co-op horror puzzle game, and feedback from players will help us improve the maze design, balance the difficulty, and explore potential new features. We aim to make the game more polished and enjoyable over time, shaped by the community’s input.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We currently plan for Escape the Maze to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months, but this may change depending on player feedback and the scope of additional content.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

For the full version of Escape the Maze, we plan to add more maps, new puzzle types, additional enemies, and enhanced co-op features. We also aim to refine the graphics, sound design, and overall gameplay balance based on player feedback.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version currently includes 7 playable maps, each with unique layouts and challenges. The game supports co-op multiplayer, allowing players to work together to escape. One zombie enemy is included, which uses AI to chase players through the maze. We plan to expand and improve the experience over time based on player feedback.

The price may increase after Early Access as we plan to add more content and features, but we aim to keep the game affordable.

We plan to actively involve the community through the Steam forums and Discord. Players will be able to share feedback about maze design, puzzles, and difficulty balance. We plan to use this feedback to help us prioritize updates, address issues, and explore potential new features. Community suggestions may play an important role in shaping the future content of Escape the Maze.

Escape the Maze is an online co-op experience that combines tension and fun, as you and your friends try to escape terrifying mazes.

In a giant labyrinth filled with dark tunnels, unexpected traps, and lurking enemies, the only way out is to work together. But be careful—every word you shout in a panic can attract a creature that can hear you!

Smart enemies hear you in the maze, follow you, and scare you.
Each map is filled with different dangers, traps, and hidden rooms.

Cooperate, find keys, solve puzzles, and find the exit together.
Panic tests your strategy as you race against time.

Escape the Maze was developed by a solo developer. Some elements of the game, including store page visuals and text, were created using generative AI tools during development. All final assets have been carefully reviewed and manually refined to ensure accuracy, quality, and full compliance with Steam’s content guidelines.

The game also features AI-controlled enemy behavior, such as a zombie that chases players in the maze. However, no live-generated AI content is used during gameplay.
