What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Creating and launching new games for Infinite Game Cartridge Collection varies with development cycles. Early Access lets players explore this launcher hub now and return for fresh game jam creations as they’re added. Your feedback shapes this evolving anthology, making it a community-driven project to craft the best indie experience!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“There’s no set end date, but Infinite Game Cartridge Collection will stay in Early Access until the launcher hub is fully realized, estimated at one to two years. New games from events like the Global Game Jam, our backlog, and new creations will continue as free DLC post-release, though the hub itself will be finalized. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to develop the full version of Infinite Game Cartridge Collection to include a more polished launcher hub with additional games, potentially reaching 30 or more, along with expanded achievements and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback. We intend to add new games as free DLC after the full release, while maintaining the core design of the hub, which currently includes a few base games. However, these plans are subject to change as development progresses.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The launcher currently hosts six playable games (So Much Money, Ancient Orb, Going Up, Simple Square, Eridu, Swordvania) with more in development from our backlog and new ideas. Details on features and gameplay are in the 'About This Game' section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As a free-to-play launcher, Infinite Game Cartridge Collection will remain free during and after Early Access. We plan to include additional content, such as free and potentially optional paid DLCs, starting at launch to enhance the experience and support ongoing development. New games are intended to be added as free DLCs over time, based on development progress and community feedback, though plans may evolve as we continue to shape the anthology.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll gather feedback and suggestions from the Steam community and social media to refine games and plan future free DLC additions.”
