Varför Early Access?

“Since this game is still in development, Early Access will allow users to see the progress of development. It will also serve as a channel for the community to provide feedback such as reporting bugs or optimization issues. Likewise, Early Access will serve to gather metrics for pitching to prospective investors.”

“The game will be in development for approximately one year. October of 2026 will be the latest, assuming that all goes well and funding is procured.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“I plan to include a procedural generated single player mode allowing for seemingly infinite gameplay, multiplayer queuing for dungeons as well as cooperative quests, so that members of the Steam community can play alongside their friends. The goal is to allow users to have a strong single player experience with the option of teaming up with their friends on Steam to play through dungeons. This game will also feature Unreal Engine's flagship components such as Lumen, Nanite, Metahumans, and fluid simulations.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version is still in alpha. The current build of the game includes multiple maps, dungeons that are pseudo-random generated, melee combat, an inventory system, a navigation and quest system, NPC interaction, swimming and other means of traversal. The dragons aerial combat is operational, but nowhere near finished. Likewise, many of these components will be subject to overhaul after implementing the multiplayer functions using the Steam backend.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“No, the price will not change. The base game will be free. DLC will have a price tag.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“The community will be able to report bugs and areas of concern involving gameplay, such as hitching, obstructions, collisions, etc. Respectively, the community can provide feedback on additional features that were not in the initial build, making suggestions on what they would like to see. Most importantly, the mod community will play a crucial role in "upping the ante" regarding gameplay and storytelling and pushing the envelope of what Wyrd can be.”
