Dark Rooms is a survival horror room-drafting game where every door pulls you deeper into a looping nightmare. Fight, build, and solve your way through a constantly shifting labyrinth inhabited by evolving horrors.

Expand the map by opening doors and placing new rooms, each one warping the layout and introducing new threats. But every new room drains stability, a precious resource that limits how far you can go in each loop. Plan your route, manage keys, scavenge for ammo and resources, and adapt to survive.

Terrifying, unpredictable monsters roam the halls, evolving with every loop and forcing you to rethink your strategy each time. Discover powerful upgrades and rare items, some of which persist between loops, and unlock new rooms to permanently expand your deck.

Uncover fragments of a larger mystery hidden deep within the nightmare. Snap photos using your camera and pin them to your corkboard, along with notes and evidence. Track patterns, uncover secrets, and piece together the truth.

Escape won’t come easy. You’ll need to survive long enough to solve the mystery and break the cycle, before it breaks you.

No two runs are the same. No room is ever safe. How many loops will it take before you escape the Dark Rooms?

• Build: Place and upgrade rooms to expand the world and increase your chances of survival. Collect hidden photo albums to unlock new rooms and reshape the layout with each run.

• Upgrade: Gather items like keys, weapons, rare resources and unlock powerful perks and tools that carry over into future loops.

• Fight: Face off against unpredictable, ever-evolving monsters that spawn in new ways with each loop.

• Solve Puzzles: Discover intricate puzzles woven into both the mechanics and the world’s deeper lore. If something looks interactive, it probably is.

• Be Immersed: Uncover the dark secrets behind the loop, and your place within it, through collectible VHS tapes, audio logs, and scattered notes.

• Investigate: Snap photos with your cameras and pin them, along with notes and clues, onto your corkboard. Track your discoveries, connect patterns across loops, and piece together the truth behind the nightmare.
