為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「#SkiJump started as a 1 day prototype to surprise one of our dear friends, Thorsten Storno (founder of A MAZE Festival and former pro ski jumper), when he came to visit us in Copenhagen late 2015. He loved to jump from our ski slope in VR and we promised him that we would turn it into a full blown VR game after we had shipped #SelfieTennis.
Fast forward a few years (including a few bumps on the road due to Julie's bad health and a tricky publisher dispute) we are now getting closer to achieving the game we want #SkiJump to be. We love #SkiJump so much, but it has also been as struggle to get to where we are today. Julie got hospitalized during #SkiJump crunch Summer 2016 and spent the next couple of years on/off development. VRUnicorns also became a part of a new company FlatPonies, which also affected development of the game. Please bare with us - development life has been tricky, but we love this game so much and we hope you will too <3」

「We are still actively developing the game into a much more fully featured release, but we can't say for certain when the release will be.

We were supposed to release the game by Christmas 2016, but due to bad health, bad luck and VRUnicorns becoming part of FlatPonies, we had to delay the release and development.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The full version of the game will include:

• A third person non-VR mode.
  
• A hub world, and 5 themed smaller hub worlds, each with 3 hand crafted levels, for a total of 15 levels + a tutorial level.
  
• 7 playable characters + a secret character
  
• Simple progression system with trophies and secret keys.
  
• Scoreboard for tracking your placement against the developer scores.
  
• Completely revised art direction, which still retains the wacky VRUnicorns look, but with much nicer rendering and detail.
  
• A slew of new audio and music.
  
• Proper menus for customizing the experience.

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The Early Access version is single player upon launch with a procedurally generated level that goes infinitely. It includes various ramps to jump off from, portals to return to the big ski jump and a basic point system. It includes a Yeti who chases you down and resets your score. There are also various tools for fun, like a bow, spears and a selfie stick.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「We are still looking at pricing options for the game, but anyone who purchased the Early Access version will get the full release for free.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「We would like the community to share their scores and foster a game where tournaments and speedruns can take place, since the game is about competition.」
