This game is based on the heroic tale of the 108 Liangshan heroes from Water Margin. Players travel from the modern era into the Water Margin universe, becoming the 109th hero. They will experience the love, hatred, schemes, and chaos of the Water Margin story, striving to achieve an outcome different from the original.

Key decisions in the game will determine which heroes you ally with, which storylines you enter, and ultimately shape your stance within the Liangshan factions and the game’s ending.

Players can explore a world composed of an over-world map and regional maps. By passing attribute checks, they can trigger interactions, take on side quests, and encounter random events. Exploring key areas will advance the main plot and unlock different story developments.

In the game, players can participate in the stories of different Liangshan heroes, such as Lin Chong, Wu Song, Lu Zhishen, and others. By befriending them and meeting certain conditions, players can form a team with these heroes.

Dozens of key Water Margin heroes can be recruited into your squad. Each hero’s combat style and abilities can be deeply customized, including allocating attribute and specialization points upon leveling up, equipping unique weapons with innate skills, and utilizing hero cards that provide bonus effects. Other heroes can also offer assistance through various in-game systems.

Players must command a rotating squad of six heroes, using "Yin" and "Yang" skills to attack enemy weaknesses and seize "Morale Points." Spend Morale Points to activate "Morale Burst," unlock hero card effects, and combine different heroes' skills to unleash powerful combos.
