« Early Access gives me a chance to work with players while the game develops. As a solo developer, community feedback is especially valuable for finding issues and improving the experience. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« My best estimate is about 1–2 years. The timeline isn’t fixed, but that’s how long I expect it will take to reach the level of stability and content I’m aiming for. With that timeline I would be aiming for an official 1.0.0 version before the end of 2026 »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The goal is to expand on existing systems, add more content, and improve overall polish. Future updates may include additional activities, optional mini-games, and new ways for players to earn and interact within the game. Development will be guided by community feedback. »

« The core sandbox systems are functional and playable. Players can astral project, place and interact with objects, drive vehicles, and play on both PC and in VR. Performance and polish are still being improved, but the core gameplay loop is already available. »

« We do not plan to change the base game’s price when leaving Early Access. Over time, there may be optional paid content or features, but the core game will remain accessible at the same price. »

« Player feedback will guide development throughout Early Access. The Steam forums and community hub will be the main places to share suggestions, report issues, and discuss ideas. As a solo developer, I’ll be actively reviewing this feedback to prioritize fixes, improvements, and new content. »

À propos de ce jeu

Astral: Steam Edition is a sandbox about exploration and freedom. Its central mechanic is astral projection: leaving your body to explore the world from a new perspective and interact with what’s around you.

The game includes three ways to play:

Sandbox – Open-world freeplay with money and shops.
Free Build – Unlimited items and full creative freedom.
Drive – Focused on vehicles, with cars spawning at the Boot and Rusty Nail shop.

Vehicles can be bought with in-game currency or spawned freely in Free Build. Shops exist as part of the pause menu, with more systems to come in future updates.

Three maps are currently available: Islands, Crazy Road, and Flatland.

This game was created by a single developer named Daniel, with the help of tools like Universal Vehicle Controller by Perfect Games. Astral will keep expanding as I continue to learn and improve. Your support means a lot.
