•  Otherworldly Items: Not all magic is of this world. Using otherworldly items often comes at great peril. Normal identification magic yields nothing; the only sure way is a combination of research into dusty tomes and dangerous experimentation. About the Author
Ken Spencer, author of the 
Tome of Wondrous Items  as well as other Frog God Games' wonders such as the
 Northlands Saga  and
 Island of Sorrow , is an award-winning RPG writer and former archaeologist who brings his knowledge of past treasures and a tendency to collect things to this book of magical wonders. When not writing for the Frogs, he works on 
Rocket Age  for Why Not Games and collects minis, books, pottery, and, lately, cats.
