About This Game

Germany in the year 1600 – an inheritance opens the gates for you to trade and politics of the time. Step into the world of the Thirty Years’ War, experience the end of the Middle Ages and the dawn of the Age of Enlightenment. Struggle through the thorny world of commerce, intrigue, and politics. Increase your wealth and secure the favor of those who can pave your way from poverty to splendor and riches, open the doors to important offices, or cover your dark dealings.

It is in your hands whether you rise to the high nobility or end up in the debtor’s prison.

Mittelland AD is the revised version of the 1996 classic Die Fugger 2, featuring improved music, several bug fixes, and freed from all non-historical references to the Fugger family. For the first time, the game also comes with English texts and voiceovers, offering many hours of enjoyment.
