"I chose Early Access to involve the community in the development process and gather feedback while the game is still evolving. This allows me to test core gameplay mechanics, improve balance and stability, and prioritize further development based on player feedback."

"I plan for the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months. This timeframe may change depending on development progress and community feedback."

"The full version is planned to be expanded with a large amount of new content, including additional objects and quests. I also plan to further polish existing systems, improve balance, and enhance the overall gameplay experience based on player feedback."

Erken Erişim sürümünün şu anki durumu nedir?

"The Early Access version is fully playable and already includes the core gameplay systems. Players can explore the main gameplay loop, gather resources, craft equipment, fight monsters, and build basic defenses.

The current version includes core survival and combat mechanics. It also features resource gathering and crafting systems, basic building and defensive structures, multiple enemy types, and a playable world with exploration. The game also contains a basic progression system and equipment crafting.

While the game is fully playable, it is still actively being developed. Players may encounter bugs, unfinished content, or balance changes during Early Access.

Planned improvements for the full 1.0 version include translation of the game into additional languages and text improvements. The update will also introduce an expanded and reorganized technology tree with new crafting stations, traps, and fortifications. More ranged weapons, armor, food items, and potions will be available to craft.

Future updates will also add new monster types with different behaviors and stats. We are planning to introduce character leveling and progression systems, expanded trading with NPCs, and improved economy balance. Additional improvements will include graphics and audio settings with saved configuration, an improved user interface and end-game summary, and performance optimization for higher FPS.

We are also planning to introduce Co-op multiplayer in April, allowing players to survive and build together."

"I plan to gradually increase the price as new content and features are added during development. Early Access players will receive the game at a lower price than the planned full release."

Awakeroots is a hand-drawn game created out of passion by two brothers - a programmer and an artist - set in a world inspired by Slavic folklore. You take on the role of settlers - pioneers on wild, mythical lands, where every day is a fight for survival. Build walls, workshops, and traps to protect your settlement from threats. Cultivate the land, harvest crops, and feed your people before night falls. Both day and night, the world becomes hostile and dangerous, filled with mysteries and mythical creatures... Survive as long as you can.




🧭 Explore wild lands, discovering resources, minerals, and plants used to craft potions, meals, weapons, traps, armor, and building materials. The deeper you venture into the wilderness, the higher the chance of encountering wandering travelers and traders offering exotic goods.

🌱 Plant and harvest a wide variety of crops - berries, vegetables, grains, and cultivated plants that ensure your settlers’ survival, can be traded with merchants, and used to prepare nourishing meals.

🏗️ Start with nothing and build your settlement from the ground up. Create workshops and storage buildings, reinforce walls and fences, prepare traps, and protect your crops from animals and monsters.

👹 Face creatures from Slavic legends - Leshies, Rusalkas, Noonwraiths, Vodniks, and other dark beings inhabiting dense forests, as well as wild animals lurking in the wilderness.

🛒 Explore the map and find wandering merchants who carry rare and unusual goods. Some items cannot be crafted on your own and are sometimes essential ingredients for creating unique equipment.
