Proč předběžný přístup?

„There are additional features and a lot of polish I would like to add to Desktop Ant Farm Simulator. The core idea of the ant farm is completed, what I want out of it for my personal use. There's a laundry list of ideas and concepts that will make their way into the game over the course of 7-10 updates. Ideas can grow or change based on feedback from the community.

This is my third videogame project and sixth Beef Cat Studios project to date. I know what it takes to take an idea to the finish line. The app in it's current state is something I feel has value to share with an audience. This is continue to grow and improve over time.“

„Early Access will last around a year. 7-10 patches are planned at semi-regular monthly intervals. These will add new features, expand on existing features, or simply clean the game up. “

„Early Access launches with a full productivity mode, a suite of game window and camera options, and dozens of lo-fi beat tracks. 1.0 will expand on all of that as well as slowly building out a more interactive idle mode.“

„The current state of the Early Access version is the description in the "About This" section below. This will be regularly updated as things are changed and added to the app.“

„All feedback will be taken into account and considered - and implemented when possible. The easiest way to let your ideas get seen by the development team would be to create on discussion topic on the Steam Community Hub for the game.“

Vibe With Your Own Digital Ant Farm

Desktop Ant Farm Simulator is a lightly interactive productivity app. Start each farm with a sprawling grid of dirt and some ants. Watch as they dig out tunnels and pockets and listen to cozy lo-fi beats. The game window can be fully re-sized and displayed in portrait or landscape. As well as being able to make the screen borderless, it will persist over other windows on your PC or laptop. Set it up in a corner space of the other stuff you're doing on your PC and have a digital ant farm to zone out and distract yourself with. A suite of camera control options allow you to focus on specific ants or take control yourself. The ants are fully autonomous and will dig until they are satisfied with the farm.
