Toonish is a game about exploration, exploitation, and money set in an alternate universe with hostile creatures, competing companies, a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶n̶c̶i̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶d̶s̶ ̶b̶e̶y̶o̶n̶d̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶r̶e̶h̶e̶n̶s̶i̶o̶n̶.̶

You play as a toon named Edward Scotts, who after moving out of his city house decides to purchase a boat ticket to a small island of the cost of the Pacific ocean, leaving him with only a pickaxe, an axe, a shovel, and $100 to his name.

In order to make money, you will have to exploit local supply chains and industrialize everything in order to make enough to not just thrive, but to be well off and never have to work a day in your life ever again.

There are many ways to make money in the world of Toonish, whether it be simplistic and small-scale, like farming or hunting, or somthing that can be industrialized and perfected to no end, such as a large-scale mining or construction industry, or even becoming the mayor of a town and taxing your citizens.

However, there are certain prominent figures who will not like the exploration you are doing, and will stop at no costs to not only end your company, industry, and whatever you own, but you yourself as well.

Build, survive, thrive, and fight against the odds in a world that gets more nonsensical the longer you explore it; all in Toonish.
