PROTOSPACE is a 2D sci-fi sandbox that puts you at the helm of a starship with one goal: survive and profit.

From the top-down tactical view of your lo-fi starmap terminal to your shipyard with a view of your current ship and upgrades, you'll navigate a massive, procedurally generated region of space. Every dot on the star chart is a destination, and every destination is a choice.

Hand painted ship art with over 50 ship types, land on alien worlds and use smaller craft when on-world to increase your chances of completing missions.

I am a solo gamedev but I have many years of experience working for some of the big companies. I have worked for Microsoft, Grinding Gear Games, THQ, Marvel. This project has been my obsession, most of it was designed in my sketchbooks late at night or at my local cafe with terrible coffee.

This is not some vaporwear title, I test it daily and am mostly just fixing bugged missions at this point, I was having trouble with multi moon planets but fixed it yesterday.
