A ROYAL EXPEDITION

As ongoing war nears a decisive turning point, the Kingdom of Midland suffers a troubling disturbance along its naval trade routes. Fearing this disturbance may jeopardize the kingdom’s chance at victory, King Galliard II, sanctions an expedition to uncover the cause of the fleet's disappearance.

A KNIGHT

You are Serpico Albrecht, the illegitimate son of a nobleman and a servant. Suffering a cruel upbringing in his father’s manor, Serpico fled upon his mother’s death, stealing his family’s heirloom sword out of desire to prove his worth. After earning knighthood by single-handedly defending a city gate, Serpico drew the attention of King Galliard II. An interest that ultimately led to his selection for the royal expedition.

TRAGEDY AT SEA

The royal expedition set sail, bound for the distant waters where the kingdom’s trade ships had vanished. Weeks passed, yet no messenger returned, and no sails were seen upon the horizon. Of the men sent across the sea, none returned. The sea kept its silence, and the truth of what befell them remained unknown…

Serpico contains themes and visuals intended for mature audiences. The game includes the following content:

    •    Fantasy violence: Players engage in frequent combat using melee weapons. Blood is depicted during combat, and some enemies may be dismembered or exhibit grotesque or corrupted forms.

    •    Dark themes: The story explores death, grief, loss, and moral ambiguity. Some characters may experience hallucinations, religious trauma, or spiritual corruption.

    •    Mild alcohol use: Some NPCs reference or are depicted drinking in casual or ceremonial settings.

    •    Horror elements: Certain environments and creatures are designed to evoke fear, including unsettling imagery, disturbing sounds, and references to possession or madness.

The game does not include depictions of sexual acts, sexual assault, or non-consensual sex. There are no scenes of self-harm or suicide. However, players sensitive to intense themes of psychological distress, cult-like fanaticism, or existential horror should proceed with discretion.
