Newton's Promise is a 2D pixel art rogue-lite side-scroller where each attempt throws you into varied side-scrolling levels. Waves of hostile creatures appear relentlessly, and if you let them slip past, you’ll face the consequences. To make it through, you’ll need to fight, dodge, strike — and survive.

CHOOSE YOUR STYLE, MAKE IT YOURS

Shape your approach by selecting a weapon and an elemental affinity. In combat, combine basic attacks, charged strikes, and well-timed dodges to survive. Each weapon brings a unique rhythm and opens up new strategic possibilities.

ADJUST THE CHALLENGE TO YOUR WILL

Before setting out, you can interact with a mysterious crystal to raise the level of difficulty. By choosing to impose greater constraints on your journey, you’ll experience a more intense challenge — where every decision and every mistake carry more weight. Whether you're seeking a moderate trial or a true test of resolve, Newton’s Promise adapts to your courage.

EVOLVING POWER, RELENTLESS DECISIONS

Throughout your journey, you’ll regularly encounter new skills to choose from, presented as randomized options. Every decision evolves your playstyle and builds on your previous choices.

In parallel, a variety of bonus bubbles appear frequently, pushing you to adjust your strategy on the fly. Strike them to enhance their effects, then carefully choose the one that best fits your current needs or the challenges ahead. Quick thinking and anticipation will set you apart.

CATCH YOUR BREATH, THEN PUSH FORWARD

At the end of each level, a shop lets you spend your hard-earned resources on healing or upgrades. And if you’ve proven effective enough in battle, a special reward might await.

With every ascent, Newton grows stronger. Each one brings you closer to a more powerful, more prepared version of yourself — ready to face whatever comes next.
