Miksi Early Access?

We are releasing the game episodically to give players an early opportunity to experience the story and provide feedback. The first episode is available for free, and future episodes will be paid. This approach helps us incorporate community input and continuously refine the gameplay and narrative.

We intend to stay in Early Access while additional episodes are in development. Our goal is to release new content regularly, but the schedule may evolve based on feedback and production progress.

White Rats is a visual thriller about survival, memory, and betrayal deep inside an abandoned research facility.

Story:
Wake up surrounded by strangers. Time is running out. The system is collapsing. Who are you? Who can you trust? Every decision affects the story, and the characters are far more complex than they first appear.

A young man wakes up in a mysterious underground dungeon. He remembers nothing — not even his name. Next to him lies a girl with a gun. She mistakes him for a kidnapper. In the end, they join forces to find a way out.

Inspired by "Cube," "Zero Escape," and retrofuturistic aesthetics, White Rats combines cinematic storytelling, a dark atmosphere, and gripping narrative. Are you ready to uncover the truth — or will you become just another part of the experiment?

Gameplay features:
In White Rats, you will play as multiple protagonists.
In Episode One, they are Rid and Anna — two young people who woke up together in a mysterious underground bunker.
To survive, you’ll need to:
1. Explore the dungeon to find an exit.
2. Discover and combine useful items.
3. Fight! – The game features a QTE combat system.
4. Solve puzzles.

Episode 1 – Awakening:

In the first episode, Awakening, you’ll meet only a small part of the UF-44 station's inhabitants. Estimated playtime is 1–3 hours.

This game uses AI tools to assist with content creation. Some backgrounds, character sprites, and UI elements were generated with AI and then manually refined to match the game's art style. Additionally, ChatGPT was used to support the writing of in-game dialogue and logic scripting. No AI-generated content is used during live gameplay.

The game includes scenes of stylized blood and violence, murder, the use of cold weapons and firearms, and tobacco smoking. All visuals are depicted in an anime-inspired art style. The game does not contain sexual content, non-consensual acts, drug use, or self-harm.
