In the Earth vs. Mars campaign demo, a turn-based strategy game of alien invasion and genetic engineering, you must lead Earth’s forces in a desperate battle for survival. Your secret weapon is the Splice-O-Tron—a device that fuses human volunteers with Earth’s creatures to create powerful hybrids.  

From cheetah-fly scouts to rhino-human tanks and squirrel-cow infantry, these bizarre super soldiers give humanity a fighting chance. As the campaign unfolds, you’ll unlock new creatures, upgrades, and commander abilities—but your enemy evolves too, unleashing horrors like “The Creep” and other mutant creations.

• First Look at the Campaign:  The Next Fest Demo features  the first five missions of the campaign, introducing players to the world of Earth vs Mars and its key characters - including Colonel Marcus Shaw, head of the Global Military Alliance task force and ex-GMA engineer and inventor of the Splice-O-Tron, Annabel Corman 

• Splice-o-Tron in Action: Experiment fusing human volunteers to create hybrid soldiers by combining cheetah, fly, and rhino DNA 

• Fully Voiced Experience: Both the demo and final game are fully voiced, bringing commanders, units and story moments to life 

• Updated Systems: This latest demo includes many updates including tutorials and an updated UI with more detailed unit information, improved production menus and more.

The full game will feature a narrative-driven campaign featuring over 30 missions, skirmish modes, 1v1 multiplayer and a full-featured map editor!

Earth vs Mars places you in charge of a band of unlikely heroes leading Earth’s military forces as they face an overwhelming Martian invasion. Using the incredible Splice-O-Tron machine you’ll create human-animal hybrids to fight alongside Earth’s military against high-tech saucers, grav-tanks and elite alien warriors in a battle for the planet’s survival. 

This demo allows you to use the Splice-O-Tron to combine fly, cheetah and rhino DNA with human “volunteers” to create versatile super soldiers complete with powerful special abilities.

Rain acid from the skies with the fast-moving cheetah-fly, charge through enemy lines with a devastating human-rhino hybrid or cut through enemy lines with the devastating cheetah-man. 

The full game will include many more creatures such as the eagle, the gecko and the deadly axolotl! 

After building your units and choosing from three commanders, each with unique battle-changing abilities, you’ll face the might of the Martian army across three hand-crafted maps, each with its own tactical challenges and unique gameplay elements. 

Earth vs Mars is our first game under the Relic Labs banner. Relic Labs games differ from our traditional, larger-scale strategy titles (which we're continuing to support and develop) in that they are created by smaller teams with shorter development cycles and a goal of experimenting in new strategy spaces, creating fun new worlds, and getting them in the hands of players sooner. Earth vs Mars was made by a small team of passionate Relicans with the goal of paying homage to some of our favorite strategy games, while adding a Relic twist. We hope you enjoy it!
