Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«We want to build the most authentic and exciting drone simulation sandbox possible, but we believe that the best way to get there is by working directly with our players. Cold Response offers a deep, moddable FPV experience with destructible environments and tactical resource management, but that’s just the start. Our aim is that the Early Access will allow us to learn, listen, and adapt the game together with the community. A game we hope doesn’t just appeal to hardcore drone enthusiasts, but to anyone who wants to explore, create, and fight in this evolving sandbox.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«It’s too early to provide a firm timeline. Our plan is to expand the game in stages, with a focus on both realism and accessibility. We also aim to refine drone handling, expand modding tools, and introduce more varied gameplay modes beyond pure combat. We expect to remain in Early Access for around 1–2 years, but the exact duration will depend on player feedback and how ambitious the roadmap becomes together with the community.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The foundation, piloting and customizing drones in a fully simulated sandbox will remain. What we plan to add is more breadth and depth: new drone types, expanded weapon systems, more interactive environments, and broader game modes that let players experience Cold Response as more than just a military sim. Our vision is to support everything from hardcore tactical play to more experimental sandbox fun, giving players more ways to engage with the world and with each other.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The current version includes a playable sandbox with realistic FPV drone piloting, resource management, and combat against AI enemies. Drones can be customized with different parts and weapons, and the environment is fully destructible with weather, seasons, and day/night cycles. Core systems are functional and moddable, but balance, performance, and accessibility are ongoing areas we plan to improve throughout Early Access.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«We plan to raise the price once the game reaches 1.0, reflecting the amount of new content and features added over time. We believe that the Early Access players will get the best value by joining our journey early.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«We want Cold Response to grow alongside its community. Feedback on flight feel, balance, and usability will be key, and we’ll use Discord, Steam forums, and public test branches to collect it. We want players to be able to suggest new drone parts, weapons, or even entirely new gameplay features. Modding support is also central to our plan, and we want the community to play an active role in shaping Cold Response. We plan to iterate openly, share our progress regularly, and build this game together with the players.»

Cold Response puts you in the seat of a drone operator.

You'll deploy and pilot custom built FPV drones in a near-future Scandinavian military conflict as the last line of defense. Strategize, improvise, and strike back against invading forces.

Everything in the environment reacts: seasons shift, days turn into nights, and structures collapse under fire. Every flight is a test. Every crash is a lesson.

Pilot freely across a small, isolated, Swedish village. Hone your flight techniques, crash through buildings, enemies and test weapons.

Mod your drone builds endlessly. Equip them with absurd weapons, from shotguns and grenades to recoilless rifles like the traditional Swedish Pansarskott M/86.

Manage resources, scavenge for spare parts, and launch specialized drones to hold off incoming enemy forces. Every drone lost is a setback. Every decision matters.
