Miksi Early Access?

Irongrim Tower is entering Early Access because I believe in developing it alongside a community. The core gameplay mechanics are solid, but I want to refine the experience, balance, and content based on real player feedback.

I am committed to transparency throughout development and want players to be part of shaping the game into the best experience possible. The feedback from Early Access will be invaluable for finetuning difficulty curves, expanding the building system, and polishing the gameplay flow.

I anticipate the game will remain in Early Access for at least 12 months. This timeline allows me to implement planned features, respond to community feedback, and ensure the final release meets quality standards. However, I prioritize delivering a polished, complete experience over meeting specific deadlines, so this timeframe may adjust based on development progress and community input.

The full version will expand significantly on the Early Access foundation:
Extended story elements / worldbuilding and narrative content
More strategic depth and building types
More enemies and AI behaviour
Game mechanics I have worked on already but kept out of the early access version of the game, such as transportation and space interactions
Improving the UI
QOL and overall polish and refinement

The game is stable and playable with hours of engaging content. Players can build their base, manage resource chains, and defend against increasingly challenging enemy waves.

Price increases will coincide with major content updates and will be announced well in advance to give the community fair notice.
Players who purchase during Early Access will never need to pay additional fees for content updates, you'll receive all additions and improvements as part of your original purchase.

Irongrim Tower is a unique fusion of tower defense and city-building strategy, set in a compelling dark science fiction universe. As Station Commander, you must build upward from a central core, creating a towering bastion that serves as both fortress and city while managing supply chains and defending against relentless alien attacks from both sides.
