We'd love to share a personal message from Isaak:

This project has been a long time coming—not just the music, but the dream behind it. Abyssal Blade is the first video game I’ve ever officially released music for. I’ve worked on OSTs before, but this is the one that made it out into the world. And I’m glad it was this one.

Vifer and I go way back—we met in the Arknights scene about four years ago. Funny enough, when I first hit him up, he told me our content wouldn’t mesh. I kept bugging him anyway. And now? We’re close friends, building the kind of game we always wanted to see, together.

We spent weeks figuring out what this OST needed to be. The style changed a lot until we found our voice in this mix of gritty synths and metal edge. I had to relearn almost everything I knew to make it work—late nights, 30-hour sessions, full days without sleep because inspiration hit and I didn’t want to lose it.

The entire soundtrack came together in two weeks. We worked live in calls, tweaking, pushing, discovering. Once we nailed the main menu theme, everything started clicking. More than anything, I just want this music to help the game leave a mark. I believe a good soundtrack makes a game stick with you. If this OST can do that, even a little, I’ll be proud.
