Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“DRIFT 84 was originally built with the invention it would be played on mobile devices. However, the game was built on a PC and tested on a PC. We feel it is actually more fun in a lot of ways on the PC and have decided to work on making it a cross platform release.

The game engine has been completed and we are now spending time finishing off the 50+ tracks. We hope the community will help us offer the most challenging and rewarding version of DRIFT 84 possible through their ongoing opinion and critic.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We are aiming to have the final release of DRIFT 84 out 3-6 months after the early access release.”

“The PC release of DIRFT 84 is set to differ greatly from the mobile version. We want our customers to know that they are purchasing a very different game.

“We currently have a 99% bug-free game engine where you can compete in the first stage, England. You can continue to play the game after completing the stage and try to unlock any of the 6 available cars.

We will be adding new tracks on a daily basis so we are looking to the community for feedback on our designs.”

“During Early Access we will be offering a launch discount and it is likely the game will increase in price once we launch with a fully integrated multiplayer system.”

“We are finding the track building process difficult and will be looking to the community for feedback on the progression of the game and also track ideas once we have launched the in-game track builder.”

DRIFT 84 was created by developer Thomas Webb as an experiment after playing famous top down racing games such as GTA as a kid. His father, Martin Webb single handedly developed the commercial console release of Outrun on the Commodore 64 in the 80's. Following in his fathers footsteps almost 30 years later, Thomas has taken his fathers past and used it as inspiration for his first release, DRIFT 84. Martin was on board half way through development, aiding with his extensive experience and adding the addictive 80's coin-op game mechanics.
