Wu Jun is 50 years old, and his family of three lives in his parents' home. However, a quarrel two months ago caused his parents to leave the city. He realizes that so far, his life has been a failure: an unhappy marriage, a poor career, and a strained relationship with his daughter. What he doesn't know is that this is just the beginning...

He is 15 months away from being fired, 18 months away from purchasing a new house and accumulating significant debt, 40 months away from discovering that he is on the brink of bankruptcy and trying to persuade his parents to come back for their money, and 60 months away from finding out that his mother has cancer, and so on...
