The Last Tape: Before The Mine is the first official chapter of a dark first-person psychological horror story, where memories are not just echoes of the past… but gateways to something that should never have been uncovered.

In 1990, Mia Jane disappeared during a camping trip in Black Wood, a forested area near the facilities of Lurmont, a company that operated under the façade of an environmentally harmless mining site in the BlackWood Forest, California. The case was never solved.

Years later, Gabriel, desperate to find a cure for an infection that is slowly consuming Mia, returns to the abandoned ruins of Lurmont. There, he discovers a video tape.
A recording that doesn’t just contain memories… but the truth someone tried to bury.

Following the events of the free Prologue available on Steam, Gabriel plays the tape, unaware that doing so awakens B-96 — a presence that does not belong entirely to the past or the present… but can move through both.

🏚️ LURMONT COMPANY

For years, Lurmont operated without oversight, conducting inhuman experiments under the excuse of mining. When something went terribly wrong, the area was abandoned and the forest reclaimed it.

But some secrets refuse to stay buried.
And the tape is proof of that.
