The most important thing in the dark is what you can see and what remains unseen.

You are not a person, you're just another self, that takes control over a lone human in the dark mountains. Your goal is to help poor soul reach the tower of stars, or rather, that is what is told to you. Your path leads through the night, don't get lost.

Stars are the solution, you have to chase them.

Explore, listen, search. Memories of the hermit are all around the forest. The past is forgotten as long as it's hidden, so try to uncover it all.

What does the hermit do in the mountains? 

Remember what is the real danger of life in the forest. Darkness consumes everything, night dictates what you can see, and what's more important what remains unseen. You don't know everything, and ignorance is the key to destruction.
