Miksi Early Access?

We think that we can get a lot more out of this game than it already has.
We like to continue working on the game and have a lot of ideas for the future.

Though, the game is already playable so thats why we chose to release it on steam early access;
So you guys can enjoy playing the game and give us useful feedback, and we can enjoy developing it.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The development of the current version was made in 2 months approximately, so we predict that the final game will be done in september. In the current stage of the game, a specific date can't be planned because we don't know which obstacles we will encounter. We want to take our time to deliver you a nice game and also don't want to be limited by a specific release date.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We have some very nice ideas for the final game including online multiplayer co-op, new maps, more weapons and new characters . We would also like to base the overall game on a background lore so keep an eye out on the details!

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Currently, we've finished the core mechanics: A fully playable game with monsters, cutscenes, (option) menus, bosses and all included with audio. As mentioned before, we got some great ideas for completing this game so check out our future plans for more details.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We are still discussing if we want to raise the price after release. You can expect that we gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.

We are open to all the feedback from the community, you guys are the Beta testers of our game and we are very curious for your opinion about the development of Forest Warrior. Feel free to contact us if you have a suggestion/ found a bug or if you are just curious about the development, our doors are wide open :)

Forest Warrior is a game in which you will have to survive a forest full of evil monsters like zombies, birds and fire spirits. Using weapons as hatchets, guns and explosives you will have to stay alive in increasingly difficult waves.

Besides weapons you are also able to use so called specials. Specials are powerups that can be activated in-game. They vary in duration and function and have a certain power level. The specials are described in the select menu before starting the game.

While in-game you have four specials per run, of which three can be chosen from the select menu whereas the last one (the most powerful one) is locked.
A particular type of specials are "Allies". Allies can be summoned to back you up while fighting the evil. Examples of allies are the Hawk and the Husky. The Hawk helps clear up birds where the Husky helps you survive evil monsters at ground level.
