Welcome to “First Pregnancy: Matsumoto–Daihoku Area Edition”!

This serious game (an educational game designed to address social issues) lets players learn about daily life during pregnancy and the local support systems available. You play as the main character who has just learned she’s pregnant and experience her journey while interacting with her partner, medical professionals, and family.

Based on information from the Matsumoto–Daihoku region in Nagano Prefecture, the game naturally introduces local medical systems and support programs. Enjoy the story while deepening your understanding of pregnancy and childbirth.

Development Background

This game was developed with support from the Nagano Prefectural “Regional Vitality Promotion Fund.”

It was planned and supervised by a pediatrician from the Department of Pediatrics, Shinshu University School of Medicine, with contributions from medical students and childcare support volunteers.

It is widely used as an educational tool to help people understand the real-life flow of medical and welfare services.
