EXPLORATION

A wide variety of biomes and landscapes portray the lands of Candlelight, the world where Nightpyre takes place. Thanks to the procedural generation of areas, terrain and levels, the suprises that await are endless.

When you venture to wander its lands you may come across shocking events, listen to civilizations yearning to shout out their story into the night sky, establish bonds with unique characters, find new runes to use in combat...

So remember that there are not only enemies on your path.

COMBAT

Fights revolve around combining elemental runes with runes that shape them. Feel free to combine them as you wish!

Furthermore, you will be able to create from scratch your own spells by customizing them using the runes, as well as combine different elements to achieve astonishing synergies.

To summon your magic, you will only have to follow a series of arrow patterns. Be careful, though, because agility is key!

LEAVE YOUR MARK

All the players, all the stars, matter.

And that is why your game is written in the night sky, populating it along the other stars.

VISUAL AND MUSICAL ART

The game´s visual aesthetics intertwine in a 2.5D perspective in both 2D pixelart style and 3D models. The camera view is primarily third-person isometric, with momentary first-person shifts for deeper immersion.

In addition, to achieve a enveloping atmosphere, Nightpyre has its own original soundtrack, designed to convey the emotions the work wants to share with you.

No generative AI has been used during the development of the game. All elements are handmade, from the code to the visual art, the story and the music.
