This gives enough time to expand the game’s features, polish the experience, and incorporate community feedback at a steady, sustainable pace. Since I’m a solo developer, this timeline may shift slightly — but I’m committed to regular updates and transparency throughout development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Startup! is planned to expand significantly on the foundation built during Early Access. While the Early Access version will include the core gameplay loop and essential systems, the full release is expected to offer:

A wider range of gameplay scenarios and challenges

More studio upgrades, tools, and staff dynamics

Expanded game genres and creative project types

Additional events, random encounters, and story elements

Improved polish, balancing, and visual enhancements

More content that reflects community feedback and suggestions

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Startup! is in very early development, with the core systems just beginning to take shape. You can expect a rough but playable experience that captures the basic concept — starting a studio, making games, and watching chaos unfold — but many features are still in progress or missing entirely.

This early version is more of a sandbox to test ideas and gather feedback, rather than a polished or complete game. Things will break, change, and evolve — and that’s part of the fun. Early supporters will play a big role in helping shape the direction and feel of the game as it grows.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes — the price of Startup! is likely to increase after Early Access. Early supporters will get the game at a lower price as a thank-you for joining the journey early and helping shape its development. As the game grows in content, polish, and features, the price will better reflect its full scope.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is at the heart of Startup!'s development. From the beginning, this project has been shaped by the idea that the best (and weirdest) ideas often come from the players themselves. Through Kickstarter, I’m building a core group of early supporters who will get behind-the-scenes access, participate in private polls, and help steer the game’s direction with their suggestions and feedback.

There will be an official Discord server where backers and players can report bugs, share ideas, and vote on upcoming features or content. Whether it's balancing gameplay, brainstorming features, or just sharing memes about broken builds, the community will be a big part of Startup!’s evolution from garage project to full release.”
