BRAMBLEFORT is a VR survival horror game focused on exploration, scavenging, and creative approaches to combat and obstacles. Combat is unforgiving, with heavy location-based damage that rewards precision. Experience high replayability, driven by player choice in how you tackle combat and navigate levels, supported by light RPG systems for fine-tuning your playstyle.

Story

You are a field operative deployed by a classified intelligence agency to investigate a remote island in the Northern Atlantic. The location has raised concerns due to irregular, unregistered cargo shipments reaching the mainland. With minimal briefing and limited resources, the agency has severely underestimated the situation on the ground. Your objective is to assess the island's infrastructure and gather intelligence on its inhabitants. As you proceed, you begin to map out the island’s social structure and routines. Find patterns of unusual behavior, ritual activity, and unexplained visual phenomena. With no backup and inadequate gear, you have to adapt, improvise, and proceed until objectives are met.

Arsenal

BRAMBLEFORT is developed with VR as the primary and only platform. All weapons are designed with physical weight and realistic handling in mind. Reloading, aiming, and melee combat require deliberate movement and precision from the player. Most weapons support different ammunition types and attachments, allowing for a range of customization options depending on your approach.

Some of the weapons include:

• A wide range of melee weapons with varying weight, size, and damage. Found throughout the island in stashes or taken from fallen inhabitants. Options range from small knives to 200-kilogram murder tools.

World

The island’s social hierarchy shapes everything you encounter. Along the rugged coast, you’ll find impoverished, near-medieval fishing villages with simple huts and basic weapons. As you move closer to the island’s center and higher elevations, the settlements grow wealthier and more refined, evolving into small towns and eventually grand Victorian mansions with a high-class lifestyle.

Built from the ground up with VR in mind, BRAMBLEFORT features polished world interactivity and systems designed to seamlessly interact with each other. Explore handcrafted environments rich with secrets, multiple pathways, and optional objectives. Navigation is streamlined with practical traversal options like rowboats and horse-drawn carriages, reducing tedium without breaking immersion. NPCs and environmental elements respond realistically, enhancing the sense of presence and player agency.
