Dimensional Fold — Demo

Genre: Solo, four-dimensional spatial-folding puzzle — a brain-teaser where you twist a tesseract (a Rubik’s-cube-plus-one-dimension) until every face snaps into place.

What is Dimensional Fold?

You pilot a glowing tesseract—a 4-dimensional hyper-cube—by applying six axis-folds (XY, XZ, YZ, XW, YW, ZW). Each fold spins parts of the cube through the hidden W-axis, reshuffling its coloured faces. Your objective in every level is simple: fold the shape until its colours match a target layout. Expect “I-got-this” moments to morph into delightful how-does-W-rotate? head-scratchers. 

What’s in the demo?

• Three handcrafted puzzles (≈ 5–10 min total) – A carefully tuned difficulty ramp that shows off every core mechanic, from simple 90° flips to mind-bending W-axis rotations.

• Full-game toolset, unlocked from the start

  • 90° folds plus ALT / CTRL micro-folds (45° & 22.5°)

  • SHIFT to preview a move, Z to undo, H for contextual hints

  • Mouse-wheel zoom, free-orbit camera, and SPACE for smooth auto-rotation

  • Visual fold-history tracker to review and optimize your solution path

Goals, progression & challenge

• Learn the fold axes in the tutorial.

• Solve each puzzle in as few moves as you can; the demo records your move count and time.

• Master micro-folds and previews to shave seconds off your best run.

Why only three puzzles?

This mini-campaign is a taste test, not a buffet. The short run-time lets you decide whether the full game’s 50+ levels, difficulty presets, speed-run timers, and extended analytics are your next cerebral obsession.
