Miksi Early Access?

Before Heist.exe was demoed at Game Con Canada 2025, I realized the game would not be fully complete but still wanted to release the game in a state players could try out, getting eyes on it while letting me improve it over time. I've been leveraging Early Access to let players try a demo of the game so I can get as much feedback as possible to make it an excellent experience.

As of now, I don't have a straight answer for this. Due to several factors such as life responsibilities, professional endeavors, and more (see more here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3749980#scrollTop=4594.66650390625), I have had to delay Heist.exe's full release twice. I'm hoping I can release the full game some time near the end of the year, but I can't guarantee that'll be enough time.

Either way, development has been progressing, just slowly. I will update the community in case I believe I need more time, or when I have a better idea of when the game might be ready. Please forgive me.

My goal for the full version is to include more levels than the two that are playable now, give the game a clearer narrative, and (possibly) polish the game's visuals and audio.

Currently, the game has two full levels (one of which even has multiple paths!), all of the player character's core actions are implemented, and the game contains two types of enemies and navigational mechanics. Said navigational mechanics are also used in puzzles.

Yes, pricing will change AFTER Early Access, since right now Heist.exe is functionally a demo. Afterwards, I intend to put a price on the full experience. The final Early Access build will remain playable as a free demo, so it will be separate from the final game.

I'll post community updates whenever there's significant news to share about the game. Also, I will monitor any feedback, reviews, etc. that I receive during development and do my best to act on it.
