By the Decree

Once per year an army is raised and sent out from the city of Respite and into the corrupted realm. After more than a century, no army has ever returned. You have been chosen, by the Protector, to be the immortal commander that will lead the first army to return victorious. With a squad of immortal heroes and an army of your choice, leave the last bastion of safety and fight to the last soldier.

The Sisyphean task of the decree will take you through scorching deserts, dark swamps, mystical forests, snowy mountains and gothic cities. You will face corrupted heroes, titans and gods as you and your heroes make it close to the root of the corruption. Every army is recruited from one of the three factions of the realm: the powerful Verdant, resourceful Faespawn or the monstrous Godless.

Return with everything you can from each attempt. Use the experience, resources and upgrades to return a stronger commander with an improved army.

• 3 Factions: Unlock, improve and master three different factions, each with their own unique units and mechanics. 

• 10 Heroes: You bring 3 heroes on every run, each with their own abilities, effects and possible rewards.

• Hundreds of Rewards: Improve your army with rewards in the form of upgrade scrolls, faction blueprints and unit variations. Purchase rewards or receive them by completing missions and their bonus objectives. 

• Companions and Enemies: Learn about both your companions and your enemies through thousands of dialogue interactions, dynamically unlocking as you progress through the game.
