Our main character's life is a mess, and just got even more complicated.  Kicked out by his ex due to his arcane 'gift' of seeing ghosts, he's forced to move into a slum. And the slumlord expects extra favors for his cheap rent.

One bright spot is his next door neighbor, Ethan. Or dark spot, rather, because even though he's been kind and helpful, our main character sees demons whenever he looks at the beautiful man.  And now he's learned two people were murdered in his apartment before he moved in...
