« Chimeros: Aurum Apostolum is a massive under taking that our team of 6, While the concepts and systems are together, assets are finished but need implementing. We wish to continue producing the project and involve community feed back for balance, and new content.  »

« With Our set upon timeline, the project should remain in Early Access for 10-14 months.  »

« We plan to add systems to the game involving mini-games to care for your creatures, More crafting recipes for foods and specialty items. DLC content with new creatures and continued storylines, and super bosses for the dedicated player to seek out and challenge.  »

« As it stands now, we have amassed the first playable location within our game, which houses 9 regions, each region possessing 5 locations. Tile sets are made, just being implemented by our small team.  »

« No, the project will remain a stable price. Buy once, keep forever. DLC's will never approach the cost of the project as well, only ever being at best 50%~ of the Original price of purchase.  »

« The Community around Chimeros: Aurum Apostolum will have a major impact in how several important systems are handled internally. Systems like Stat growth, Exp curves, and Overall game balance, will dynamically adjust to our community feed back, received through Emails and bug reports sent to the company email.

Balance: Shift.//ascend is a small team, we won't ever catch all the balancing issues. Our Community will however. Their feedback involving the games balance, locations and fights that are far to hard, or even places that have lower than expected spawn rates will assist us in balancing the game in a fashion that meets the player expectation and developer intended means.

Exp/Items: Exp curves and items drop rates are all balanced based off of a numerical value and drop percent chance. These chances feel good internally but as the community partakes in the project and feedback, then these values will chance based off of their responses, making drops more plentiful or reduce them to make the chase better. »

Chimeros: Aurum Apostolum is a RPG creature collector at heart Focused on exploring and unraveling the mysteries of a strange new world you are transported to with your chosen team of "Chimeros" creatures. Within this exotic adventure, Take on the role as a lost anthropologist attempting to solve a mysterious journal while traversing the sprawling Isle Chimeros.

  • The "Chimeros": 9 Types of creatures, with 9 different elemental affinities to pick from. Each pairing creates a line of 6 stages, each one growing in power and evolving as you train, grow, and bond with your chosen partners!

  • Evolution: Always a choice, never an accident. With evolution being a choice, you pick when you evolve after hitting each stage of evolutions level cap. Be warned, Evolution is Randomized, and follows a simple set of rules, Each stage will have either the same Type or Element as the previous form.

  • Exploration: 9 Different environments, From lush jungle to the lost ruins of a desert kingdom, mountains carved into monoliths or a spire at the edge of the atmosphere, all for you to explore and seek out the secrets of. Find the heart of each region to dive into the greatest challenges available to you

  • Dungeons: Unlike other Creature Collectors, Chimeros: Aurum Apostolum has Dungeons more akin to typical RPG games of the same visual era. Each dungeon you dive into will have a rogue-lite designs, shuffling the order of floors and puzzles. Making every run dynamic and difficulty change floor to floor until you find yourself in fron to fhte final challenge, our legendary beasts known as "Ancients"

  • Care: Chimeros are creatures. Care and bond with them, sharing meals, and play mini-games to boost their stats. Spending time with your team may result in strange occurrences with Evolution.

  • Crafting and Cooking: Your camp is your lifeblood. A base of operations that you stem every expedition from. Each trip brings back a bounty of rewards from shards, to plants, and even evolution materials. Use these materials and foods to make medicines, and cook meals to share with your Chimeros!

  • Elemental Traces: combat in Chimeros: Aurum Aposotlum moves quickly, Strategy is your ally. Fill the Trace meter to call upon the lingering powers of the land to lay elemental vestiges on the battlefield, then chain elements off of them to cause devastating effects.

  • The Golden Isle: As you explore and search for information to fill out the journal, You grow ever closer to the final goal. The Golden Isle on the horizon. almost always visible, but ever out of reach.
