Miksi Early Access?

We want to grow Rest Area Simulator together with our players. In the future, we plan to introduce new businesses, management systems, customization options, and various mechanics that enhance the atmosphere. Your feedback during this process will help us improve the current experience and implement planned features in the best possible way. Our goal is to build a living and evolving game world with an ever-expanding structure — be a part of this journey.

The planned development period is approximately one year.

In the full version, we plan to include more businesses, products, and systems, as well as new production, consumption, and sales dynamics unique to each business. We also intend to increase the number of dynamic events. We also plan to introduce city life in post-release updates after the full version is launched.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version offers players the opportunity to experience the core game mechanics. Currently, players can actively manage businesses such as a gas station, market, supermarket, and car wash. A living world full of visitors, dynamic weather, an economy system, gameplay-affecting random events, leveling, a reputation system, cleaning and security requirements, along with mechanics for purchasing and upgrading businesses — all of these have been implemented in this version.

The game’s core loop is stable and enjoyable.

This version is an ideal starting point for players who want to explore both the existing content and the game’s future potential.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We don’t plan to change the price during the Early Access phase. However, once the full version is released with additional content and improvements, we expect the price to increase. That’s why getting the game early is a great way to access everything at a better price.

We place player feedback at the center of our development process. Through Steam forums and our website, we actively collect suggestions, bug reports, and gameplay ideas. We aim to evaluate constructive feedback and shape the game together through regular updates.

🤝 Rest Area Simulator can be enjoyed solo or with up to 4 friends. Share tasks, manage different businesses, and tackle crises together. Good coordination will take your operations to the next level!

🌤 Operate your facility in various weather conditions such as clear skies, fog, and storms.

🕰️ Your facility opens in the morning, visitors arrive throughout the day, shop, and interact with the environment. At the end of the day, businesses close, and you prepare for the next.

🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Visitors arrive by car or metro, walk around the rest area, sit on benches, chat, or shop. Each visitor follows their own unique routine.

🌟 Clean the floors and walls, collect trash, fix breakdowns, don’t keep customers waiting too long, and keep each business's reputation score high. High-reputation businesses attract more customers.

⚖️ Product purchase prices change depending on the buying and selling activity at your facility. A product bought in bulk may become more expensive or yield less profit. You must strategically manage both your business and the economy.

🛠️ Gain experience through tasks like customer service, cleaning, and product management to level up. Leveling up allows you to acquire sales licenses for new products and purchase new businesses like supermarkets and car washes.

👷‍♂️ If the workload is too much, hire staff and take it easy.

⚙️Each business has its own unique upgrades: Buy new pumps, order security cameras, invest in a generator to stay open even during bad weather.

💸 Not every profit has to be honest. With the Illicit Profit System, you can take risks to earn more money.

But beware: random inspections and customer reactions may turn those extra profits into big fines or reputation loss. Will you play it safe, or gamble for quick cash?
