About This Game

An evil AI has ascended to godlike intelligence, distorting time and space to endlessly replicate itself. Trapped on the Singularity Island, everyone wears the same mysterious helmet —and you're one of its conscious clones, trying to escape.

But escape is a lie. The loop always resets.

Build your deck. Design your mechanism. Fight your way through the loop.

Break the cycle—if you can.

Deckanism: Singularity Island is a roguelike deckbuilder meets auto battler, where you do not just build a deck - you build mechanisms.

Before each battle, you spend tokens in a rotating three-slot shop, which draws cards from your personal deck. Pick what fits your plan, then arrange your hand across up to six board positions—freely placing and reordering cards as you prepare for what’s ahead.

When the battle begins, cards activate one by one—your first slot, then the opponent’s—alternating in turn until the round concludes. Every placement matters: not only do you need to consider what your cards do, but how each one interacts with the ones placed by your opponent.

You can see your opponent’s setup before battle begins, so it’s all about building the right response. Where you place each card—and in what order—can be the difference between winning and getting wiped.

Your deck isn’t just a list of cards—it’s a working mechanism. Each card has effects that trigger, chain, or boost others, and how well they flow together can decide the outcome of an entire loop. With over 150 unique items and 50+ Inspirations, every encounter gives you new pieces to add, swap, or upgrade. As you progress through the map, each stage offers opportunities to strengthen your deck, adjust your strategy, and prepare for what’s ahead. Inspirations add more layers, enabling wild interactions, broken combos, or unexpected synergy chains.

Every run is different. Every board is your experiment.

Push your mechanism to its limits.

Watch the numbers explode as your engine kicks into overdrive.

Each run—called a loop—resets your deck, your Inspirations, and everything you’ve built. You’ll start again with a basic class deck, face a new series of encounters, and discover fresh synergies based on what the island offers this time.

But not everything resets. As you play, you’ll unlock new classes, expand your card discovery pool, and earn permanent upgrades that carry across loops. The customization sets you select at the start of each loop also grant you new inspirations, providing unique bonuses and synergies that can dramatically influence your approach. Every failed attempt brings new tools for the next one—and one day, the perfect build to break the cycle.

Deckanism: Singularity Island is currently in early development.

As the spiritual successor to our previous title Deck Dash (an async PvP auto-battler), we are evolving the formula with deep roguelike elements and run-based deck building. Thanks to existing assets and systems, we are aiming to launch a playable demo soon - and we want you to be part of shaping the game. Join our community, test early builds and help us build something truly special.

Here are some planned features:

  • Asynchronous PvP: Some encounters will be against the “shadows” of real players.

  • Modding Support: You will be able to tweak and create item cards, mechanics and inspirations.

  • Battle Anomalies: Battle anomalies will drastically affect how each battle will be played out. Some will restrict you to using only melee items or will scramble the item card costs, while others will change the turn structure completely.

We are inviting players, designers and curious minds to follow the development, give feedback and help us fine-tune Deckanism: Singularity Island.
