„Drowning Ashes is entering Early Access to allow us to develop and refine the game based on feedback from the community. The overall plot and lore, as well as the core gameplay experience, are mostly set, but there is plenty of room to fine-tune the project based on player feedback.“

Enter a world where (almost) any enemy you face can become an ally! Choose from five playable heroes, and over 40 recruitable monsters; each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and equipment options.

The ruins of the Capital are an unforgiving place, and you will need to choose your allies and equipment wisely to have any chance of survival.

Enemies in Drowning Ashes are dangerous, and each encounter can pose a deadly threat to the unprepared. Learn each enemy's weaknesses, and build your perfect strategy to conquer impossible odds against deadly bosses.

Exploit enemy weaknesses to gain additional turns, equip powerful items with their own unique skills, and develop a team of ferocious monsters to push back the curse of Ash.

Explore a cursed and dying world full of shortcuts and hidden paths, rest at Wellsprings to restore your healing flasks, and temper the Ashes of your foes into mighty weapons.

Drowning Ashes is a turn-based monster collector at its core, but fans of the souls-like genre will find plenty of familiar tropes amidst the ruins of the Capital.

The ruins of the Capital are full of mysteries and secrets. How did the kingdom fall? Are your fellow survivors who they claim to be? Who are you, and why did you really come back?

If you survive the fiends, and the terrible curse of Ash, you might even find some answers. The Capital awaits you, hero!
