“From my rough estimation, the game would be in Early Access from 2 to 3 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“"We plan for the full version to have the Endless mode, Survival mode and Story Mode, with multiple selectable characters and enemies variations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Current Early Access version contain the Endless mode. Should be around 20 - 40 minutes for an average player to see all the available content, as in all the combinations of upgrades”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will most likely not going to be change when we leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will communicate openly with our community about the state of the game, planned and requested features, and other feedback. I will be primarily active on my Discord server, but will also check other channels. I look forward to improving the game with you!.”

Gatestriders is a roguelike top down 2d shooter!

Humanity's homeworld has fallen to the Kaiju swarm. Now, the last survivors have reached Planet Em-8er - but this new world harbors deadly threats of its own.

Choose Your Mech and command one of three distinct Gatestrider units:

  • PRIME - Balanced all-rounder with versatile firepower.

  • HEAVYOBJECT - Heavy tank with devastating shotgun spreads.

  • WANTED - Agile sniper built for precision strikes.

    GateStriders is a top-down bullet heaven shooter where you pilot powerful mechs against overwhelming odds. Battle endless waves of hostile creatures in this intense top-down shooter. Upgrade your arsenal between waves, unlock devastating abilities, and adapt your tactics as enemies grow stronger and more numerous
