Synopsis

After emerging from a mental breakdown, chef Alex discovers his city transformed into an empty wasteland stalked by mutated creatures and overgrown by strange looking plants. When an eldritch being approaches him in his dreams and demands he cook daily meals from a cryptic recipe book—or be devoured—Alex returns to his now abandoned restaurant and fires up the stoves one more time. From here, he must scour the quiet city while uncovering the truth behind the apocalypse and the Being he is cooking for. As the dishes requested become harder, and the creatures become more dangerous, it is only a matter of time before Alex finds a way out of this predicament, or dies trying.

Gameplay

Explore the procedurally generated ruins of Watterun, using the environment and meager weapons to survive encounters with mutated creatures while scavenging for ingredients. Transform your findings into dishes that both satisfy the eldritch being's demands and provide crucial buffs needed for your next hunt.

• Combat & Exploration - Use the city's ruins tactically— turn environmental elements into weapons as you search for rare ingredients across randomized districts and points of interests, or use them to avoid the stronger enemies lurking the streets.

• Cooking System - Engage in skill-based minigames to process ingredients and craft dishes. Your performance and ingredients gathered determines buff quality, from enhanced stamina to improved combat abilities. As the entity's hunger grows, recipes become deadlier and require venturing into increasingly dangerous areas.

• Story - Collect notes left by survivors in different points of interest scattered throughout the map. Piece together the mystery and find a solution out of your predicament.
