Manage a small base and plan expeditions into hostile locations. Assign your crew to essential stations, keep the base running, and send specialized robots out to recover the resources your survivors need.

BASE MANAGEMENT

The base layer is turn-based. Each day is split into a morning phase and an evening phase, and in both you decide how your crew will spend their limited time.

There is always more to do than the crew can handle. Keep the generator running, adjust and prepare robots, deal with sudden events, and decide which problems need attention now and which ones can wait.

Every task puts pressure on the people doing it. Fatigue builds up, injuries reduce your options, and Crew Pressure can spiral if the situation in the base gets worse.

REAL-TIME EXPEDITIONS

At night, you embark on real-time expeditions. Before leaving the base, you choose one of your characters as the Robot Operator and assemble a team of robots for the mission.

Expeditions are built around time pressure. You enter different locations with their own objectives and mission setups, explore the area, uncover tasks, gather resources, and try to solve as much as possible before the next enemy wave hits.

Your actions can also influence the Aggression Level, allowing you to shape how much pressure an expedition creates.

Because the pressure does not stop, preparation matters. The Robot Operator you assign, the robots you bring, the loadouts you choose, and the routes you take determine how much you can get done.

ROBOT SPECIALIZATION

Robots can be upgraded and equipped for different roles.

Defenders are large, tough units. They can carry heavy objects, move obstacles, force open blocked paths, and absorb or redirect pressure in combat.

Strikers are fast and mobile. They deal more damage, move through the map more easily, and can reach routes that Defenders cannot.

Customize your robots with loadouts, upgrades, and abilities. Stronger abilities raise a robot's energy cost, so the best build depends on the mission. What works on one map may be a poor fit on another.

Robots can also be damaged or disabled, which makes preparation, team composition, and long-term planning even more important.

KEEP THE BASE RUNNING

Everything you bring back from an expedition feeds into the next day at the base.

Resources keep critical systems running, allow repairs and upgrades, and decide how much pressure your crew can handle. A failed expedition is not just a failed mission. It makes the next day harder.
