Why Early Access?

“While the game is in an operable state and visually acceptable, I would not consider it complete. In addition to adding new features and improving existing content, I have a few goals for this game I want to satisfy before taking it out of early access, here are a few highlights:
- Adding a proper save system so players can save their progress between sessions.
- Expanding the settings menu to improve usability.
- Adding controller support.

Additionally, I am releasing the game in early access now because I need player feedback on what I have already one. I want to make the game as good as possible and the only way I can do that is through feedback. Through feedback I can establish novel goals I would've otherwise never thought of.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“My current plan is to keep the game in early release for approximately 4 months after the release date to apply necessary polish, iron out any emerging bugs or glitches, and possibly introduce new features. Of course, this plan could change depending on my personal motivation, how the game is received, and external factors.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“If a full version of the game is ever released, it would likely improve upon preexisting systems and incorporate more utilities. Additionally, I would like to add more chambers, weapons, tools, upgrades, hazards, mines, enemies, bosses, and overall depth to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game features one game mode. The player is given the goal of surviving 8 rounds before winning. They are given the option of continuing after reaching the round goal. They have the opportunity to access and use all available chambers, weapons, tools, upgrades, mines, and enemies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will change as new content and features are shipped.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am the only developer working on this game and have only shown this game to a handful of playtesters. I need more feedback on the work I've done so far so I can continue to improve the game. If a community for this game forms, I would love to communicate with them and involve them in the continued development process.

With a community, either one based in Steam's forum system or perhaps a third party platform like Discord, I will communicate and work with users about the development process. Specifically, users can help provide critique, ideas, knowledge, and general encouragement. Feedback from the community is essential and will directly impact the continued development of the game.”
