Bloodfront is a top-down dark fantasy survival game where you build a village by day and defend it from endless demonic hordes by night.

There are no second chances. When the village falls, the run ends.

Prepare by day. Survive the night. Repeat until you fall.

In Bloodfront, each run is a single, escalating survival challenge. During the day, you gather resources, construct buildings, and position defenses. At night, demonic hordes attack your settlement from all sides, pushing your preparation to its limits.

There is no progression between runs, only how long you can survive and how well you adapt before everything collapses.

Gameplay Loop

  • Day: Explore, gather resources, recruit villagers, and expand your settlement.

  • Preparation: Decide how to spend limited time and materials to strengthen defenses or arm yourself.

  • Night: Relentless demonic hordes assault the village. If the settlement falls, the run ends.

  • Endurance: Each night grows more dangerous, testing planning, positioning, and reaction under pressure

  • Endurance-based survival — No meta progression, no carryover. Every run stands on its own.

  • Village building under pressure — Every structure matters when night falls.

  • Escalating enemy hordes — Enemies grow stronger and more numerous with each night survived.

  • Top-down combat — Fight alongside your defenses using a variety of weapons and abilities.

  • Day / night cycle — Calm, limited preparation followed by intense survival combat.

  • Multiple enemy types and bosses — New threats force adaptation as the run continues.
