“A true and benevolent God cannot raise a fist in righteous anger; therefore, the machinations of the Empyrean spill mortal blood in its place.” 

The war was quick and total. In its retreat, humanity yielded the Earth to angels, fleeing the surface with fearful hearts and fire-scarred flesh. Deep underground, the engineers bred you to be fearless, built you to be fleshless. 

Suit up. There is work to do above.

  • Wield a potent and varied arsenal of weapons to take down the angels of the Empyrean.

  • Deftly switch between aerial and grounded combat to avoid your enemies’ attacks.

  • Harvest resources from downed enemies (and predecessors) to repair and craft weapons.

  • Immerse yourself in a lo-fi vector aesthetic inspired by line- and vector-graphic arcade games of the 70s and 80s.

  • Explore unique regions spanning a vast surface world abandoned by humanity.

  • Search for hidden areas and grow stronger by augmenting your mech with new abilities.
