Varför Early Access?

“We plan to release the game in an "Early Access" format for the following reasons:
The current script contains a large volume of text, and completing all content entirely on my own would place enormous pressure on development. Therefore, we hope to test the waters by launching the game early, recoup some production costs, and continuously polish and complete the remaining content based on player feedback.
During Early Access, we will adjust the pacing of the story, improve the experience, and gradually add new chapters. Our ultimate goal is to deliver a complete and well-crafted visual novel.”

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for roughly 12 months.
The timeline may change depending on player feedback, feature additions, and overall development progress.”

The scorching summer air buzzes with the cries of cicadas—sharp, oppressive, and almost conspiratorial.
My assistant Ashari and I received a mysterious email from someone calling herself the “Snow White of the Clocktower.”
She offered a generous sum to bring us to the far-off city of Arlan to investigate a string of deadly spirit-related murders.
Night is falling. The prey has yet to appear...
And so, our story quietly begins—on the very first evening of our arrival in Arlan City.

To You, the Evil Spirit is a visual novel that blends mystery, adventure, and romantic elements.
You play as a cynical “spirit detective,” accompanied by your tsundere assistant Ashari, invited to the exotic offshore metropolis of Arlan City to hunt down vicious, otherworldly entities.
As the story unfolds, you'll explore the foreign charm of Arlan Island, meet a wide cast of characters, and slowly uncover the terrifying secrets hidden beneath the mist-shrouded Arlan Tree.

📖 Current Game Content
The current version includes two full chapters of the main story, with over 500,000 words of content and an estimated 5–8 hours of playtime:

◉ Prologue: The First Night
The protagonist and Ashari arrive in Arlan City.
This chapter mostly mirrors the original demo version, with minor revisions to better align with the worldbuilding and overall narrative direction.

◉ Chapter One: The Chainsaw Spirit (Part 1)
Early in the investigation, you encounter Selama—a mysterious, wealthy Black beauty.
The three of you share a small but intense adventure, sparking moments of romantic tension and coming face-to-face with a horrifying chainsaw-wielding spirit.

◉ Chapter Two: The Chainsaw Spirit (Part 2)
As the case deepens, the true face of Arlan City begins to emerge.
You’ll join forces with local exorcists to battle the chainsaw spirit.
During a brief moment of respite, you'll also visit the opulent Golden Coast Casino—experiencing a dazzling side of Arlan’s vibrant urban life.
