Informazioni su questa demo

SAFA is a narrative-driven, third-person survival horror game. The endings as well as story change based on your decisions in each play through with every end of the game being open to player choice. There are no save states or autosaves in the demo so please be mindful and don't die. Death automatically leads to the demo restarting.

Meet the town's people, explore a lovingly crafted environment, and scavenge for resources as you try to make your way to your son. Mina and her son were stranded on a desolate road after a car crash. Having passed out after it, Mina awoke to her son nowhere in sight. Now she searches through the closest town for signs of life and asks around for where he might be.

Explore the town, knock on peoples doors and see if they answer. Search through a highly detailed environment created by a single person and navigate your way through your own senses. The demo for SAFA focuses highly on player engagement and is designed as a mix of old school horror and modern day horror games with a focus on player agency. Engage with the town's people and see what they want from you in return for helping you. Combat against unique enemies with each designed around the classic folklore stories they are based on.

The demo is expected to take between 15 minutes to an hour to experience depending on your choices. You can take a number of approaches to get to your end goal or learn about the town and its history. Mina makes notes of things she finds as well as the creatures in her compendium.

Whilst you are able to help NPCs and escort them to safe areas in the full game, this is not available in the demo. The demo takes place after Mina has awoken from the accident and ends once you've reached the school or the first boss fight.
