Observe, is a grand strategy simulation where you just don't play. You create the rules and the AI behaviors and watch them unfold. This is essentially a platform where you craft scenarios, program AI behaviors, and witness unique alternate histories develop!

AI Studio - Program Your Own AI

The heart of Observe is the ability to program your own AI and watch it compete against others. Through AI Studio, where you have access to documentation you can create an AI, then assign it to a country of your choosing, and put others' AI's to different countries and test your strategy.

The AI Studio features an intuitive interface with documentation built right in. Even if you've never coded before, you'll find yourself creating simple behaviors in minutes. For experienced programmers, the depth is limitless.

Scenario Editor - Craft Your World

The Scenario Editor gives you complete control over your simulations:

• Create and customize countries with unique colors, names, and starting territories

• Then modify 3400+ regions. Their names, development levels, and population are all customizable

• Adjust global parameters like starting dates, time formats, technology levels and even ocean colors

• You can save your scenarios, edit them whenever you want, and share them with the community

• Save indivual countries to your library to be used in the History Shuffle feature

Every aspect of the world is customizable. Want to see how history might unfold if the Roman Empire survived into modern times? Or what would happen if all continents banded together?  The Scenario Editor makes it possible.

History Shuffle - Infinite Alternate Histories

Observe's most unique feature, History Shuffle creates procedurally generated scenarios that provide endless entertainment:

• Automatically combines countries from your library into unexpected new scenarios

• Witness the Mongol Empire, U.S.A, and Roman Empire compete on the same map

• Set to "endless" mode to automatically generate new scenarios after each conclusion without clicking anything

Observe was built from the ground up with performance in mind:

• 3400+ detailed regions across the entire world map

• Optimized simulation runs at 60+ FPS even in late-game scenarios

• Complete simulations in 10-15 minutes for quick, satisfying sessions

• Seamless wraparound map. Cross the Pacific and find yourself in the Americas

• The simulation is in depth, all regions have real-world (adjusted) population data and manpower is limited

• With supply system, it means that encircled regions or overseas regions with no port connections are easy targets

• Map modes to help you understand the world's situation

Tournaments - Compete with Your Strategy

Beyond solo play, Observe features a unique tournament system:

• Annual AI programming competitions where the best strategists compete
